My paintings depict people in their worlds.
They are an attempt to portray the interior life of my subjects by showing them in their
everyday surroundings at a precise moment in time.
Often their exterior situation reveals more about the interior life
of my subjects than their face, figure or attire.
My painting style is purposely gestural, and fast so that the objects and subjects
are not individually dwelt on but the specific high moment appears to have been
captured all at once before it dissolves into the next moment.
